Working in the Insurance industry for 20 years focusing on customer service. I established the industry consumer helpline dealing with distressed risks including but not exhaustive; obtaining insurance for underpinned/flood zone properties, Travel Insurance for people with Medical conditions and imported vehicles insuring on the Chassis number. We achieved the pinnacle FCA accreditation.

Moved back to working in Southend in 2022 on general Commercial and Private Lines insurance. Starting at LBH Insurance in June 2023.

I have worked in insurance for nearly 25 years now since leaving school. I started off in motorcycle insurance and progressed onto Household, Travel, and other products before moving to London and then to sunny Southend!
In my previous role I was a Manager of a Team dealing with Caravan and Landlords Insurance products and with a firm belief in Treating Customers Fairly and delivering positive outcomes for our clients, insurers and providers. I also firmly believe in training and development of staff as this is vital in these previously stated goals and many of my staff have gone onto hugely successful careers in the industry. I was also a School Governor for 7 years as I have a huge interest in education and leadership in general.
After nearly 20 years in my previous role, I joined LBH in 2022 as an Account Executive, assisting our clients in acquiring suitable cover for their needs and now as Compliance Manager my goal is to develop and maintain our regulatory responsibilities. The Team are all dedicated, experienced professionals with multiple years in the sector and we all look forward to developing the business.

Commenced his insurance career in 1971 with Commercial Union, West End office, and progressed to Local Manager Southend on Sea in 1983 dealing with all classes of insurance.
Circa 1988 transferred to the broking world in the local area and joined LBH in 2013.
Throughout that time he has always provided a personal service to both commercial and private clients many of whom have followed Chris from broking house to broking house and who have also become good friends and not just clients during the journey.

Establishing and maintaining relationships over the years has been a key factor in every role I have undertaken, so after many years working as an independent Financial Advisor specialising in Mortgage Advice for first time buyers to investors with large portfolios of properties, I then joined the Football industry becoming a Commercial Director for many football clubs.
